{"id":1467,"date":"2021-02-24T16:40:06","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T16:40:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timhinchliffe.co.uk\/?p=1467"},"modified":"2021-02-24T16:40:06","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T16:40:06","slug":"live-music-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timhinchliffe.co.uk\/?p=1467","title":{"rendered":"Live Music Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>I&#8217;d been living<\/strong> on the North-Kent coast for a couple of years before I noticed that at least two rather excellent regular music festivals were within easy reach.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramblinmanfair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>The Ramblin&#8217; Man Fair<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in Maidstone, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anewdayfestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>A New Day Festival<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in Faversham.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At first I&#8217;d just smuggle<\/strong> my good lense in with me and hope they didn&#8217;t throw me out, but after a while I got up the moxie to say hello and ask if I could be made semi-official in return for any pictures they might want to use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And now I have the time of my life,<\/strong> in front of the barriers instead of behind them, and some of my shots have been used in their marketing and souvenir publications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And I&#8217;ve even had<\/strong> a couple of photos printed in <em><strong>&#8220;Prog&#8221; <\/strong><\/em>magazine!
